If you want a particular pot color pots can often be swapped out with minimal trouble.

Ilex species "Hollies" This species is a favorite because of its tiny leaves and smooth gray bark. It is evergreen and can be grown indoors or out. It like a little nip of frost. The branches tend to be brittle and are therefore best styled by "clip and grow".

It is best in glazed pots and is available in "Bush" styles, multi-trunk, and upright styles.

Available ready to style and semistyled. Prices range from $12-$25 depending on size and degree of styling.

Serissa Foetida "Tree of a Thousand Stars" This tree is a favorite because of its tiny leaves and numerous carnation-like flowers. It is evergreen and can be grown indoors or out. It like a little nip of frost.

It is best in glazed pots and is available in "Bush" styles, multi-trunk, and especially "Literati"- or resembling the trees in Chinese brush paintings.
